If you have engineering equipment to sell, please get in contact with your local used machinery dealer in Newcastle, Butcher Machines and Tooling. We are actively looking for all sorts of used machinery including:
- Lathes, milling machines, shapers, drills, engine reconditioning machines, and horizontal borers, from hobby size all the way to 6m lathes and bed mills!
- Press brakes, pan brakes, guillotines, plate rollers, section rollers, welding rotators, Pullmax machines, English wheels, shrinkers and stretchers, and anything used in the fabrication industry.
- Forklifts, Hiab cranes, Enerpac equipment, machinery skates, and all sorts of used material handling equipment.
- Vernier calipers, micrometers, surface plates, straight edges, hand scrapers, and other metallurgy and machine refurbishment equipment.
If you are thinking of using a dealer or going to auction, consider these few points:
- How quickly do you need everything sold? If you want a quick turn around, don't wait for an auction house to catalog and then run a 14 day auction.
- Do you really want lots of different people coming to remove machinery from your workshop on the same day? Wouldn't you rather a qualified, insured, and experienced operator to remove everything at the same time?
- Some items get good money at auctions, but don't forget that everyone always brags about auction steals and bargains... If you're the one selling, you're the one taking all the risk auctioning your equipment off with no reserve! Use a dealer for a guaranteed price with fair negotiation.
