Return Policy - Tooling

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at clarry@butchermachines.com.au. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address at your cost: 39/8 Spit Island Close, Mayfield West, NSW, 2304.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Policy - Used Machinery/Equipment/Items

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, Butcher Machines and Tooling (BMNT) advertises the condition of a used machine as accurately as possible. We sell machines in various conditions from near new, to machines suitable for spare parts/or scrap metal. So, notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, used equipment is sold in an as is, where is condition, as advertised. BMNT offers no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the nature, quality or condition of the equipment, or its suitability for use. This includes without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose, unless expressly agreed upon in writing between the parties. All used machine advertisements (i.e. written agreement) will detail to the best of our ability, the condition and usability of the machine. BMNT shall have no liability to buyer hereunder or in connection with the equipment, including without limitation, loss of profit, loss of income, loss of production, loss of opportunity, indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or exemplary damages. Inspection and installation of all machines by a qualified electrician is recommended by BMNT prior to use.

More simply, we love to take care of our customers, but please make sure you thoroughly read our advertisements! We highly recommend an in person inspection of any machine you would like to purchase and are happy for you to bring your electrician when you do!

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. For damaged items, please take some pictures as proof and send them to clarry@butchermachines.com.au.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as carbide inserts). However, please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
